Lemons
The vitamin C content in lemon can brighten teeth and the citric acid content can fight bacteria in the mouth. For lemon, you can cut it into 2 parts. One part of a lemon is applied directly to yellow teeth, then brush gently using a toothbrush.
Squeeze another half of a lemon and use it to gargle. This can help make teeth whiter, maintain oral health, and avoid canker sores and bad breath.
Apple
Fruitaholics can use apples to whiten teeth or reduce dental plaque. The way to do this is by eating an apple directly after eating. Chewing apples can stimulate more saliva to help neutralize acid, reduce tooth decay and bacteria in the mouth.
Not only that, apples are also good to consume to maintain healthy teeth because they contain high levels of antioxidants which help prevent the gums and surrounding tissue from damage and bacterial infection.
Banana
Consume bananas regularly. Rich in fiber, and contains vitamins C and B6, it can help maintain a healthy body, including teeth.
Bananas are also low in acid, and contain minerals, such as potassium, manganese and magnesium, so they are known as a fruit that is good for strengthening teeth.
Banana peels can clean yellow plaque stains on teeth. The method is to rub the banana peel for 2-3 minutes on your teeth, then brush your teeth as usual.
Orange
Vitamin C in mandarin oranges functions to help produce saliva and strengthen blood vessels in the oral cavity, this can help reduce oral bacteria.
In addition, vitamin C is useful for helping prevent gum inflammation and canker sores. To help whiten teeth, the method is to rinse your mouth and brush your teeth. Then rub the inner peel of a fresh orange evenly on your teeth. Repeat the process at least 2 times a week before going to bed.
If you consume fruit with high acidity, it is not recommended to brush your teeth immediately for about 30 minutes to 1 hour so that the enamel layer is not eroded.
